US VISIT
4/30/2002 A number of Irish growers made the trip to the Amycel headquarters in the USA towards the end of April. On their visit they visited the largest mushroom farm in the world (Watsonville).

4/30/2002 Sylvan organised a farm walk in conjunction with McGeary's Fresh Mushrooms on the 15th of April. The walk took place on Leo McGeary's farm at "Kishaboy" on the Collegeland Rd in Co. Tyrone.

GIDDY UP
4/30/2002 Another winner in the McGeary stable is young Shannon McGeary, daughter of Thomas. She has won the U-10 Ulster Show Jumping Championships
POT LUCK
4/30/2002 Grower Martin Mallon has been sporting a huge bandage on his hand. Seems that Martin's wife threw out a unusable flowerpot, which Martin then managed to cut his finger on, while disposing of the rubbish.
