Grower Martin Mallon has been sporting a huge bandage on his hand. Seems that Martin's wife threw out a unusable flowerpot, which Martin then managed to cut his finger on, while disposing of the rubbish. The damaged digit demanded further attention when it refused to heal. Investigations by medical staff uncovered a piece of the pot lodged in Martin's finger. Four stitches were needed to seal the wound after the fragment was extracted.
