Regular visitor to these parts Ray Samp was back in town again in April. Ray was diligently touring compost yards while he was over, as ever casting his expert eye over the state of the industry here on behalf of Sylvan Ireland.
The busy mushroom production consultant was staying at the new Armagh City Hotel while he was over here. Stalker hopes he found the place up to the high standards expected by the modern business traveller. However Stalker has heard various reports about the new hotel, not all favourable, and the odd rumblings about the grub being not quite at the cordon bleu level.
The 'fitness suite' facilities at the new hotel are said to be excellent – and doubtless Ray was pumping the iron assiduously – making sure that 'the drinking arm' was in good shape for any pints that might have come his way, perhaps.
