Donegal Creameries has reported steady growth in 2001 and has signalled a "satisfactory" performance in the current year.
Turnover at Donegal rose 11 per cent to €139.4 million, while pre-tax profits rose to €5.4million.. The dividend has been increased to 10.8 cents per share.
The problem that the foods group experienced with low yields at Carbury Mushrooms has receded, and the joint venture is expected to make a significant contribution to profits in the current year, according to the company.
