Stalker was cocking the shell-like in the direction of the radio more recently this month when Monaghan Mushrooms was mentioned.
Stalker was immediately on alert – more news of waivers and big money stuff? Not a bit of it – twas one of the staff at Monaghan Mushrooms engaged in a radio competition.
The company got a good wee bit of free airtime publicity – the employee managed to net €50 for her troubles in the radio quiz and gave favourable mentions to the company while she was at it!
But didn't the presenter get a bit risqué - sure yer man on 2FM asked her "so what's the story with mushrooms these days. Is it, when the sh*t is good the mushrooms are good". Pardon Stalker's French, but the quote is verbatim!
No matter – the trip to Australia wasn't won; maybe some other mushroom industry employee will nab that down-under prize?
