Grower and Mr Fixit Hugh Quinn from Dromore in Tyrone was instrumental in organising a big benefit night to fund the Dromore GAC.
The club fund-raiser was held in Bundoran on Friday 5th December. There were quite a few mushroom folk in attendance including a contingent from McGearys, Conor Teague, Seamus Cassidy and Sean McNally.
The night was also attended by luminaries from the Tyrone team – a Ryan McMenimin shirt was auctioned off apparently for £7,000 and there was other memorabilia being flogged to help raise much needed funds for the club.
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte was also there on the night.
