Last year after the Armagh All Ireland victory Stalker noted the effect Sam had in the county: "Nearly a month after the All-Ireland final and the effects of the Armagh win are still being felt across the county – like mini-seismic events. The Sam Maguire cup has been moving around within the county, from one small town or village to the next. Everywhere it goes the effects are discernible to observers, as inexplicably, the local workforces seem to go AWOL for a day or two.
The explanation could lie in the ample volume that the cup can hold, and the desire for each fan to savour a draught from the hallowed vessel."
Roll on one year and it would appear that the same is happening in Tyrone.
Bar the brief appearance that the cup made in Monaghan, it seems to be doing the rounds in Tyrone just at it did last year in Armagh.
The cocoon of contentment encircling Tyrone will be around a while yet.
Hopefully Armagh and Tyrone can take it about turns each year for the next decade or two - (with time out in between for Fermanagh, Monaghan and Antrim to get their hands on the trophy too).
