Thursday evening 18th September and the Armagh All-Ireland squad were to be found in the Armagh City Hotel signing autographs for fans from around the county.
Some supporters got there early to ensure they got a scribble. Patiently they lined up from 8pm onwards – but the orderly queuing didn't last and instead of a scribble they got a scramble.
Come 10.30pm even the most patient fans got fed up with a 2-hour wait and in the end to get nothing.
Espied at the signing event were a patient trio from JF McKenna – Miles McGeown, Ollie McKee and Brendan Vallely.
Funny how there they were queuing up to get the autograph of a man who once worked with them –Ronan Clark.
