The Mushroom Industry Association of Northern Ireland (MIANI) meeting on Wednesday November 7th, 8.00pm, at the Drumsill House Hotel, is a must for all growers and industry personnel interested in securing the future of the Northern sector. Creating a collective voice to represent the industry, especially when things get tough and go wrong, is quite patently the way forward. To miss the meeting will mean missing the chance to input to the way the association develops. Remaining out of the loop in these times is taking the ostrich option; not advisable even at the best of times.
