NO HELP
Eugene McCann, from Eglish, had a bad time of it in early July. Eugene had a first flush on one Saturday morning but couldn't manage to find any help to get the crop picked on time. He did eventually get the crop off, but getting top dollar for the produce was then not on the cards. It must be disheartening for Eugene, a plasterer by trade, to see such an amount of effort wasted. The growing game can be a cruel one too, as many a grower would attest to.
