The received axis of power in GAA reputations was knocked a bit of kilter in early July.
With Dublin given a bit of a drubbing by Armagh it was also easy to overlook the other "upset" that took place the same weekend.
When Fermanagh made the move on Meath there was many a gasp of incredulity in the royal county, (Stalker has heard reports of blush-makingly audible outbursts in the Navan region in particular).
It would be fair to say though that Fermanagh do deserve full praise for their back-door victory.
A quarter final showdown with neighbours Tyrone will see if the Fermanagh men can further the county's winning streak.
