Folk may have noticed the gleaming new structures that have sprouted down near the Tandragee Compost complex in Armagh. Cabragh Mushroom Composts Ltd has arrived – a brand new, state-of-the-art plant for Phase 3 compost production.
CMC will begin filling with the new bulk system in July and hope to have their first Phase 3 load rolling out in August. CMC is a sister company of Tandragee, the name deriving from the adjacent town land to the Tandragee site that the new plant is situated on.
The new plant was entirely developed and seen through with the expertise of the Dutch Christaiens Group. The whole project is designed to take compost production "to a new level."
Man in charge Stephen McKew is justifiably very proud of the new facility and is raring to go, to get the plant into full swing.
This is surely a huge endorsement for the future of the industry in the North, using the top European technological expertise to push the industry forward.
Stalker wishes Stephen every success in this exciting new venture into the composting future.
