The mushroom growing venture at Cuan Mhuire, part of the rehabilitation programme at the Athy Centre run by Sister Consilio, is doing very well according to reports.
The Centre in Kildare received a ministerial visit last month – a sure sign of a success story.
Unit manager Nicola Flynn is responsible for the overall success of the mushroom growing and is obviously doing a fabulous job, helping the clients to get involved with the art of mushroom growing.
