What will the home of the future look like? A converted flat in 2049 is one of the evolving designs by the Interaction Research Studio of Northumbria University.
The flat contains Mmycelium insulation - fungal panels that help protect against weather extremes. The panels used by the museum were donated by Myceen.
Another gadget in the new flat of the future caught Stalker’s eye - a farm free protein machine.
