With most forecasts for the year ahead seeing inflation rising, it was a surprise to see the UK inflation rate dip down in the first month of the year.
With a recessionary vibe in the air and a lot of negativity around economic affairs at the moment, it isn’t surprising that inflation has been dampened.
The year ahead though does look like it could be a time of rising costs and thus prices.
