EXCHANGE RATE

The pound sterling slumped a measure against the euro over the past month.

From €1.21 before Christmas, it was at €1.18 in Mid-January.

Following an interest rate cut by the ECB at the end of January the exchange rate has bounced back up to £1 = €1.20.

There are so many different metrics affecting foreign exchange rates it's hard to keep up with the ever shifting ups and downs.
