Stalker was very sad to read about the passing of ex-Teagasc Mushroom Advisor Liam Staunton on the 29th October last.
Liam loomed large over the mushroom industry scene in the 80s, 90s and 00s, his expertise and acumen were recognised by all within the industry.
Liam’s name was synonymous with the mushroom industry in Ireland, and he produced copious research throughout the years on mushroom growing, bag systems, the economics of conversion to shelf systems, disinfection protocols and much more.
