Donegal Creameries recorded a 14.5 % rise in pre-tax profits last year, which was despite facing harsh trading conditions across a number of its businesses.
Turnover fell by 2.9% to €135 million, mainly as a result of lower commodity prices in the diary division.
Managing director John Keon outlined the intended direction of Donegal over the coming year, and also remarked that Donegal Creameries was considering how best the Irish mushroom market could be consolidated.
