Sunday 21st of April was the warmest day of the year so far in Northern Ireland.
Temperatures generally ranged from 16C to 19C and the highest value was recorded at Castlederg in County Tyrone at 19.3C.
Subesquently though the UK and Ireland have been plunged into some polar air with temperatures dropping to near freezing at night, and reaching only to 8C during the day.
