A weird story hit the science news sites recently with reports that Indian researchers had discovered a frog with a mushroom growing out of it.

The story is carried elsewhere in these pages, but confirms the old saw that you will see everything in India.

The mushroom has been identified as a bonnet mushroom and the frog is known locally as Golden-backed.
