MYCOREMEDIATION BOOM
The Financial Times reported on a new start up called Mycorecycle recently. The five year old start-up uses fungi to transform industrial waste into new raw materials. Two other companies in Europe, Mycomine in Sweden and Novobiom in Belgium, are doing something similar. The FT reckons that given the scale of pollution and waste more companies like this will be needed. Does someone out there sense an opening in this field in Ireland perhaps?
