GETTING WARMER

The Met Office said that the UK was 1C warmer than average last month, and even warmer in the south of England.

The world experienced its warmest October on record as a leading climate scientist warned the global 1.5C climate goal is “deader than a doornail”.

A preliminary assessment found that October was about 0.3C warmer globally than the previous October record.

November has yet to exhibit much in the way of coldness - this year os definitely on course to be the warmest eve recorded.
