STERLING SLIPPING

The rate of the pound sterling has slipped slightly against the euro this month, heading closer to €1.15 to £1.

The converse is that 87p buys one euro.

Both the eurozone and the UK have had some negative economic news recently, although not gravely so.

As we head into the chill winds of winter economic headwinds can get choppier. Here’s hoping things keep on an even keel going forward.
