SOLAR MUSHROOMS

News of a solar farm being planned in the Carbury area of west Kildare piqued the mushroom antennae.

The planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council by Carbury Compost Unlimited Company.

The solar farm is proposed to provide electrical power to Monaghan Mushrooms located at Drummin, Derrinturn.

No doubt the mushrooms from there will taste even better using the greenest tech to grow them.
