On first encountering the yamabushitake , Stalker initially thought that this particular type of mushroom was unknown in the Stalker household.
However, very quickly it was realised that this is in fact the Lion’s mane mushroom.
It has a great alternative name though and is now being grown commercially in tropical regions of the world.
The word itself just rolls off the tongue. The Yamabushitake (Hericium erinaceus) is one of the most sought out mushrooms that is widely used for both direct consumption and medicinal purposes apparently.
