EV UP
Almost one fifth of all new cars registered in Ireland in 2023 were electric. The surge in sales of electric vehicles is evident on the roads. With 16,766 EVs sold to July this year and increase of 66 percent on the same period last year. It looks as if the electric revolution is happening. Lack of charging points still seems to be an issue. Watch out for the surge in EVs when the cheaper Chinese models hit the Irish market over the next year or so. Some of these models certainly do look the business.
