Total Irish exports to Britain grew by 19 percent to €1.6 billion in May, compared with the same month last year.
Exports to Britain accounted for 10 per cent of the State’s total exports in the month. Chemicals, food and live animals accounted for the largest share of exports.
The EU accounted for 43 percent of total goods exports in May, at a value of €7 billion.
