HOT SPRING

Spring 2023 was both hotter and wetter than average in Ireland according to the latest data from Met Éireann.

The season which began very wet ended up becoming much drier by the end of May.

May was warm and calm mostly, with less rainfall, leading to very dry conditions.

The sense that drought is upon us, is mounting.
