The team at Nutrigain had a busy time at The Mushroom Days in May. The team were flat out at their stand and there was a lot of interest generated in the drip irrigation system which they are delivering in collaboration with NetafimTM.
“Nutrigain is working with NetafimTM to really move quality and yield to a new level. The key is tackling second and third flushes, after a heavy first flush. Nutrition is one aspect and the company is targeting this with MycroNutrient.
However water and casing management is an integral part of this and hence the use of drip irrigation which gives so many advantages to growers.
Drip irrigation is future-proofed for new ‘non peat’ casing alternatives, as it gives a more continuous watering source during the crop cycle.”
