STERLING UP

The UK currency has risen to its highest levels in 10 months against the US Dollar.

However movement of sterling against the euro has been pretty static with levels still sitting around the £1 = €1.14.

The converse reckoning of 88p to the euro shows that the level is not very far away from the Irish mushroom grower’s red alert level.
