There has been a slight improvement in sterling’s rate against the euro following the conclusion of the Windsor Deal on the Northern Ireland Protocol issue between the UK government and the EU.
Sterling is currently trading at £1 equal to €1.14.
Meanwhile, the protocol deal is yet to deliver the recommencement of the Northern Ireland Assembly, although there is hope that progress is being made - even if at a glacial pace - towards more normal functioning of governance.
Business sentiment seems wholeheartedly behind the protocol deal as things stand.
