One other fallout from the bird flu sweeping the country is the lack of free range eggs.
In the UK new changes are being considered by government ministers which could allow for eggs laid by hens kept in barns being classed as free-range. Current rules mean that eggs cannot be classed as free--range if birds are indoors for more than 16 weeks.
Surely it would be stretching the concept of free-range to breaking point?
