There’s been a surge in demand for second-hand electric cars in the UK lately, a cheaper alternative to going electric than buying new.
Second-hand EV sales jumped 37.5 per cent according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. Sales of EV’s have stalled a little though, while petrol engined new car sales have revved up.
Not surprising really when you look at the price of comparable vehicles - petrol equivalents costing nearer half as much can seem very attractive.
