Twenty years back in December 2002 compost was a theme too - As one compost man said “ There’s good demand for good compost!”.
It seemed like an outbreak of brown plaster mould was exercising minds back then, the previous issue of the magazine had just carried a science article on the subject by Dave Seaby.
Correctly functioning temperature probes were advised. A happy photo of Henk Van Gerwen, Brendan Burns and Leslie Codd graced that issue, at a picking seminar.
