The extremely mild temperatures experienced throughout Britain and Ireland in the course of November have caused a bit of a stir.
In the UK a record breaking 19.5C was recorded in Lancashire - nearly one degree higher than the previous record. Northern Ireland recorded its highest November minimum temperature of 14.5C.
The jet stream seems to be behind the latest exceptionally mild weather, although temperatures have been above the average all of this year so far. People have also noted plenty of flies about too!
