WHERE HAVE THEY GONE?

There was a letter in one of the main newspapers recently in England querying the lack of wasps so far this year.

Locally too, the absence of wasps has been remarked upon. Where have they all gone? Is it a portentous omen?

Was it just a bad year for wasps? Normally though we are plagued by them right up til October, but this year not a one to be seen. Weird.

Does anyone out there have any answers?
