The used car price in Ireland has risen faster than was expected up to the end of September this year.
A surge in demand for second-hand motors pushed prices up a further 3 percent, with prices on some used cars up by 35 percent over the year.
Some think the rise in second-hand prices has peaked. Prices in the UK secondhand market have dropped, and the UK is the only region in Europe where this is the case.
Still it isn’t a good time to be looking for a car, either new or second-hand.
