STERLING STRONGER

Since the Ascendancy of Rishi Sunak to the Prime Ministerial role in the UK the pound sterling has firmed up against all major currencies.

Currently the euro sterling rate is sitting at €1.16 equal to one pound sterling.

That’s good news for Irish mushroom exporters to the UK market - moving away from the danger zone.

Conversely that reads as 86.5p buys one euro on the foreign exchange markets on Halloween day 2022.
