There was reportedly a deficit of detector tubes in the local industry of late. These tubes are used by the compost outfits to determine ppm's of ammonia, CO2 and oxygen in airflow over the compost or over the beds. Ollie McKee at JF McKenna's got the word that local companies were having a hard time getting their hands on these multi-task tubes, and within 48 hours he had them in stock at the company HQ. No hanging about there then!
