The Irish Times produced its list of the top 1000 companies again this year. Nestled in among the ranking contenders were the two largest mushroom industry companies in the land, namely Monaghan Mushrooms and Walsh Mushrooms.
Monaghan Mushrooms was ranked at 263 on the list, with a turnover of €285m, with 3500 employees and the management led by Paul Wilson.
Walsh Mushrooms came in at 546 on the list with a turnover of €80m and 70 employees, with management named as Padraic O’Leary.
It’s always good to see the mushroom industry featuring in such a prestigious ranking list of Ireland’s biggest companies.
