Stalker was reading reviews on two books on modern farming recently, both of which gave some food for thought.
Rooted : Stories of Life, Land and a Farming Revolution by Sarah Langford, and Regenesis : Feeding the World Without Devouring the Planet, by George Monbiot were the two tomes.
They may not be to everyone’s taste, but they both throw up challenging questions about modern farming, its methods and its possible future. Some potential summer reading for sure there.
