Greenhouse gas emissions in Ireland are top of the agenda too this summer, with agriculture facing calls to reduce emissions by between 20 and 30 percent by 2030.
Talks are ongoing as we go to press, but no doubt the hot talking point this summer will be how to cut emissions without eviscerating the backbone industry of the nation.
The poor old dairy cows get a bum rap with all the methane emissions that they apparently emit.
