Stalker is always on the lookout for mentions of mushrooms in any shape or form in various media, and was surprised by one mention this month. It was in The Times parliamentary political sketch column that an unexpected item arose in the bagging area.
In a coruscating sketch of the Common’s committee grilling the ethics advisor to no.10, Lord Geidt, the columnist alluded to the Prime Minister as “that mouldering stinkhorn as they describe him, who leads our government”.
Stalker did chuckle at that. Not often you hear of a sitting Prime Minister being described as a fun guy.
