Piet Lempens, Chairman of the Mushroom Days Foundation, announced on the event’s website that the 36th Dutch Mushroom Days, scheduled to take place in July this year, has been cancelled.

It is a bit of a blow to the industry that the premier event in the global calendar for the mushroom industry, which had already been shimmied around a bit, has now finally succumbed to cancellation.
Hopefully the organisers will regroup and re-imagine the event for the not too distant future.
