After the Sharan dust settled on our shores last month, it seems that supermarkets were advising customers to wash the blood rain off their fruit and veg - especially that which had come from the likes of Spain.
Tesco had signs up advising customers that had settled on some of its Spanish crops. Lettuce, celery and peppers were among the affected crops.
Aldi too were telling customers to give their veggies and extra wash.
