Folks in Britain are being asked to track flowering fruit trees to help scientists determine whether climate is changing blooming patterns.
Fruitwatch, a website that has been developed by the University of Reading, is the site to go to where citizen scientists can post their findings. People are initially being asked to record flowering cherry and plum trees, with apple trees to follow.
Sounds like a good way to spend the spring months, keeping an eye on the blooms.
