The price of petrol and diesel in the forecourts has fairly shot up over the past while, with fears of invasion in the Ukraine putting an upward pressure on prices.
Apparently a fifth of the UK’s diesel comes from refineries overseen by the Kremlin.
It’s easy to see how the jitters in the energy markets translate into fuel pain around the country.
Hopefully tensions in the East will ease without any conflict. But nothing is assured!
