The temperature profile in Ireland last year ranged from minus 8C in January to 31 C in July last year.
At the end of the year we were battered by violent storm force 11 winds by storm Barra, but we had less rain, more sun and higher temperatures than average.
As we start 2022, already we’ve had the mildest New Year’s day on record, but also snow and ice warnings, and some milder weather to end the month maybe.
It is shaping up to be another interesting weather year in Ireland and the UK.
