Either the euro weakened a bit, or the pound strengthened of late, but the rate is moving in the favourable direction for sterling.
£1 is worth €1.19 as we go to press, with sterling surging up several cent against the euro. Reasons could be myriad, but analysis would indicate that perhaps the covid surge in Europe is a factor.
