Armagh is jostling with Tyrone to the crown of hottest place in Northern Ireland this summer.
A record temperature of 31.4C was recorded in Armagh just days after Castlederg in Tyrone had charted a record of 31.3C. Monaghan and Cavan are also nipping at record temperatures this July.
THe tropical nights are the hardest thing to contend with in these extremely hot times. Doubtless mushroom growers in Ulster, and all over the country, are finding it hard to maintain even temperatures for growing in this summer heat.
The order of the day in these temps is to keep cool and don’t overdo it.
